“The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37).” These words of our Lord Jesus are ingrained in the DNA of our ministries – so much so that evangelism has become our mandate. Evangelism is the process of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with those who do not yet have a personal relationship with him. We are concerned with the numerical growth of the Kingdom of God. After all, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick (Matthew 9:12).” Though we care about the numerical increase, we do not trade efficacy for efficiency.
Evangelism is a process and as such, we challenge our volunteers and the youths we serve to continue developing an evangelistic attitude and invite their unchurched friends to our events.
At Cornerstone International Ministries, evangelism is primarily aimed at (though not limited to) youths living in our community; that is within a reasonably reachable driving distance.
